In people I've worked with but most just fellow parents, I have seen go above and beyond to help a child learn everything there is to know about the world. To out everything into their relationship with that child to help them learn, trust, and grow in the relationship between the child and caregiver. I appreciate this because I feel like all too often, a caretaker assumes their role is throwing the child in front of a tv and doing nothing else, when being a childcare provider is much more hard work and emotional strain than that.

My friend who is an elementary school teachers for years now, is so very good at connecting with younger kids. She talks to them at their eye level, shows tons of patience, has a certain voice she uses to speak with them, she just has a way with the younger kids that I have always admired.
