I would keep practicing hand washing, sanitizing the door handles, to surfaces and toys. Have the child monitored to make sure his hands are washed after sneezing, and/ or the child is excluded and is in a quiet area away form the class, watching movies or resting under adult supervision.

We go through a lot of bleach. We sanitize all day long as needed and according to a schedule. Kids things are kept separate. We send sock kids home.

Appropriate sanitization methods reduce the spread of illness. This includes following diaper changing procedures and disposing diapers correctly and washing hands frequently. Washing children's hands also prevent the spread of germs. Finally, sanitizing toys, tables, and having parents wash bedding is important as well.

Wash hands frequently, sanitize frequently, encourage children to wash hands frequently especially if they are exhibiting symptoms. Avoid touching mouth and face with unwashed hands. Make sure kids who are sick are sent home if they exhibit symptoms that your center excludes for. This requires paying close attention to the children to monitor potential changes in affect.
