Some common illnesses might be a stomach bug or the flu. It’s important to notice fevers coupled with other symptoms like sniffly nose, headache or fatigue that might be a sign of the flu. Vomiting or diarrhea might indicate a stomach bug.
Other possible common illnesses might be pink eye or chicken pox. I am not extremely familiar with their symptoms yet, but I know that pink eye would become visible as the child will want to rub their eye and it might be watery or have a discharge.

We often see common colds, ear infections, stomach flu, pink eye, diarhea and even hand foot and mouth. We watch for these symptoms and depending on fever's or the number of diarheas in a 24 hour period we send them home. We also get scrapes and bruises which we clean and may place a band aid or icepack.
