My practices help prevent illnesses because we are constantly cleaning the center, the sheets and blankets, where we eat etc. We also send home kids who are really sick, and stay home if we are ill to prevent spreading the illness further

In reducing exposure to childhood illnesses facilities should have individual cribs, cots, sleeping bags, beds, mats, and or pads for each child who spends more than four hours a day at the facility. No child should share the same crib, bed, or bedding at the same time with another child. Clean linens should be provided for each child, beds and bedding should be washed after every use if used by different children. When using pads, they should be enclosed in washable covers and should be long enough so the child’s head or feet do not go off the pad. Mats and cots should be made with a waterproof material that can be easily washed and sanitized.
