How do your practices reduce exposure to childhood illnesses?
Theses practices reduce exposure to childhood illness by ensuring the safety of both childcare provider and child. Sending any child home who is experiencing a cold is a must to reduce risk of other people getting sick

The best way to reduce exposure to childhood illnesses is for sick children or staff members to stay home and to practice frequent hand washing and keeping the surface areas of toys and tables sanitized.

In my opinion the best way to prevent childhood illnesses is to have all staff wash hand frequently and at the appropriate times. Also have the children practice the same things, while also encouraging them to stay home when they are sick. The care givers should also do the same.

Noses are constantly being wiped, we wash hands often, we encourage children to keeps their hats and scarves separate from others and to not share those things, we have a policy for when children should stay home (fever, diarrhea), and we sanitize daily.
