If you suspect a child is being abused you must contact the appropriate law enforcement agency. The correct agency for you to contact should be made readily available to you at your center.

I would need to report any suspected abuse or neglect to CPS. My local number is 1-800-609-8764. I would ask CPS how they plan to proceed and if I suspect immediate danger to the child I also call local police.

State laws and community procedures state that if I suspect that a child is being sexually or physically abused or neglected I must report this to Child Protective Services and if a child is in any immediate danger I must also contact local law enforcement.

If you suspect anything you should call the Child Protective Services, if you suspect the child is in danger and needs help immediately you must call the local law enforcement.

If I see in my care that a child is in danger of abuse and neglect, I will contact Child Protective Services to investigate the case. But if the child is in danger at the scene I will contact law enforcement for immediate response.

In order to follow state laws and community procedures that protect children against abuse and neglect I need to immediately report any suspicion of physical, sexual, emotional neglect or exploitation to Child Protective Services (CPS). If the child is in immediate physical danger, or has been harmed and needs immediate medical attention, I also need to contact and make a report to local law enforcement.

if you suspect that a child is getting harmed you should first talk to licensing or director. and have clear documentation about what suspicions you have for the childs case.

Immediately report any and all abuse to your immediate supervisor, if in a school system, to the proper authorities if in the community.

You must immediately report an instance when you or the staff have reason to suspect that child physical, sexual, or emotional abuse, child neglect, or child exploitation as defined in chapter 26.44 RCW has occurred. This report must be made to Child Protective Services. If there is immediate danger to a child you must also make a report to local law enforcement. If the suspected child abuse or neglect involves you or your staff, you must also inform your licensor.

Any provider should have posted numbers for staff to access if needed. And any sign of abuse or neglect should be reported to posted numbers as soon as witnessed or observed.
