Conflicts between families and childcare professionals happen when both parties demonstrate lack of time and lack of communication, lack of understanding and appreciation for backgrounds, such as culture, income, class, race, religion, etc. And differences in values and views of children and mismatch in modes of communication.

There can be multiple reason on why families and childcare providers may not see eye to eye and may have conflict with one another. One could be they have different views on what's better for the child in his/her developmental process, the lack of supporting each other, the lack of trust, miscommunicated information between both parties, just to name a few.
