A very colorful environment with happy inviting colors and maybe have art projects they make up on the walls to show them we are proud of their work and have them do more.

To ensure that your environment inspires children's learning and keeps them engaged, offer a variety of activities to appeal to different interests. Get down the child's level and see what is accessible. Make sure that there all choice for all different types of interests.

How can you make sure your environment inspires children's learning and keeps them engaged?
By providing various skill building and educational activities children are likely to stay engaged while in the environment they are in. Also presenting stories and posters on walls the children can relate to can also engage the student because often times a child can be uncomfortable just based on not being able to relate to anything or anyone around them.
Here are some of examples of different activities that can help build upon the same skills and engage children in the environment they are in:
Blocks Creative art Music Dramatic play Sensory exploration Library/quiet area Literacy/writing Table toys/manipulatives Science Computer Woodworking/building area Outdoor/large muscle areas

You can make sure your environment inspires children's learning and keeps them engaged by offering a good variety of activities to appeal to different interests. Make sure the centers are colorful, fun and interesting from a child's point of view, can be accessed by children independently and are kept well stocked with enough materials, displayed at an appropriate level.

I can make sure children are engaged in learning and that they are inspired by having a variety of work to choose from and by engaging myself in their learning.

How can you make sure your environment inspires children's learning and keeps them engaged?
I can accomplish this by providing colorful, challenging and creative centers that both stimulate and inspire the children. These centers need to be age appropriate and accessible to the particular age group.

Interesting patterns/colors engage the children in one area or another, the children break up into small groups managing their feelings, thoughts and interests without closing other children out.

I can make the centers engaging by offering more than one center and offering more than one activity at the center.
