Common illnesses in children are fevers, colds, ear infections etc. Symptoms include runny nose, cough, red cheeks, hot/coldness, etc. Care should include isolation and rest within view of the teacher.

Young children will constantly be getting the common cold from each other, hand foot and mouth is unfortunately common and contagious, ear infections can happen, scrapes and bumps from play, pink eye could be another one, lice is common in schools because kids love to share everything (except toddlers).

You are likely to see children who have symptoms of the common cold. Also, you may have to tend to minor incidents including: scrapes, paper cuts, bloody nose, bumps, scratches etc.
